يسعى أحد الأندية البرازيلية إلى التعاقد مع مهاجم فريق مانشستر يونايتد إدينسون كافاني، في العام المقبل.

ومن المقرر أن ينتهي العقد الحالي للاعب الأوروجواني مع مانشستر يونايتد نهاية الموسم الحالي، أي في صيف 2022.

وانضم كافاني إلى مانشستر يونايتد في صيف 2020، مجانًا بعد انتهاء عقده مع باريس سان جيرمان حيث وقع عقدًا لمدة موسم ثم مدد إقامته موسمًا آخر.

وارتبط كافاني في الفترة الأخيرة بإمكانية مغادرة مانشستر يونايتد في يناير المقبل والانتقال إلى صفوف برشلونة.

وذكرت صحيفة “ذا صن” الإنجليزية، نقلًا عن تقارير برازيلية، أن كافاني مطلوب في الدوري البرازيلي وتحديدًا نادي كورينثيانز.

وأشارت إلى أن مسؤولي كورينثيانز أجروا محادثات بالفعل مع شقيق ووكيل كافاني حول إمكانية الظفر بخدماته.

ولم يؤكد وكيل كافاني تلك المحادثات، إلا أنه ألمح إلى أن كافية الخيارات متاحة أمام اللاعب صاحب الـ34 عامًا.

وقال وكيل كافاني: “العودة إلى أمريكا الجنوبية؟ علينا الانتظار قليلًا، سنرى ما هي الاحتمالات الموجودة”.

وأضاف: “من الوضح أنه إذا كان هناك مشروع جيد من أي نادِ برازيلي، فيمكننا دائمًا الاستماع إليه”.

وواصل: “لدي التزام بحصول كافاني على كافة الخيارات، سنرى ما سيحدث”.

Para o bem e para o mal, o Fluminense transitou na contramão da lógica durante a maior parte da fase de grupos da Primeira Liga: perdeu, em Volta Redonda, para o Atlético-PR, e derrotou o Cruzeiro, em Belo Horizonte. Mas, na última rodada, precisava e acertou o trajeto. Em Juiz de Fora (MG), o Tricolor venceu o Criciúma por 2 a 0, na noite desta quinta-feira, e garantiu sua presença na semifinal do torneio. Gerson foi o autor dos gols que fizeram o técnico Levir Culpi estrear com o pé direito no clube carioca.

Mesmo debutando no Tricolor e pregando a busca por resultados rápidos, Levir optou por mandar a campo um time praticamente reserva para enfrentar um outro com característica semelhante – o Tigre também não escalou sua força máxima. Celtic have been handed a major boost amid James Forrest’s return to the training pitch to prepare for action once again his with his fellow Bhoys.

Hoops boss Neil Lennon confirmed that the 29-year-old is set to return to training this week, adding: “We’ve missed him because he’s a quality player. He’s proved that over the years, time and again, and been so successful. But he’s nearly there now and he’ll be welcomed back.”

And, speaking to Football Insider, Noel Whelan heaped praise on the player who has been out of action with an ankle injury for the past four months. The pundit believes that Odsonne Edouard will “thrive” off having the quality of Forrest back in the first team, and that it’s a “huge boost” for the side.

Indeed, the Hoops have struggled this season in several areas on the pitch, but one main worry has been their lack of attacking threat. Edouard for example, looks a shadow of his 2019/20 self. According to Transfermarkt, the French maestro has managed to contribute 16 goals and four assists this season. Whilst this is still a highly impressive amount, it’s levels below his astonishing 28 goal, 19 assist campaign last time.

Integrating David Turnbull into the starting lineup has been a huge stroke of genius from Neil Lennon, who has been a real catalyst in Celtic’s engine room – he’s bagged six goals in his debut campaign with the club. But having Forrest back at his disposal will hugely improve the Hoops’ attacking prowess, given everything that he brings to the table.

Before his injury in September, the £5.4million-valued wide man notched two goals and one assist in seven appearances. Prior to this, 2019/20 saw him tally a stellar 10 goals and 17 assists in the league, as per Transfermarkt, with his overall count reaching 16 goals and 22 assists – magnificent for a midfielder.

And, as Whelan touched upon, Forrest’s return could do wonders for Edouard in particular. In the Frenchman’s Hoops career, he has combined with the winger for a whopping 23 goals between them – 13 more than the man next on the list, Callum McGregor.

Clearly, Edouard has a really strong understanding of Forrest’s game, and having his partner in crime back in action and in the fold should liven him up that little bit more.

You only have to look south of the border to see the troubles a broken up duo can have on a player, with Heung-min Son failing to pick up a single goal or assist in the two Premier League games that Harry Kane missed.

Edouard will relish the fact that Forrest is closing in on a first-team return, and the moment the winger passes his fitness checks, Lennon must throw him straight back into the side and give the Hoops a much-needed lift.

أكد أنطونيو كونتي المدير الفني لـ توتنهام أنه سعيد بتواجد الإنجليزي هاري كين في صفوف فريقه، مثل سعادة يورجن كلوب بامتلاكه المصري محمد صلاح في ليفربول.

ويخوض توتنهام مباراة مساء غدًا الأحد أمام ليفربول في إطار منافسات الجولة الثامنة عشر من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

ويعاني هاري كين من تراجع مستواه وقلة أهدافه في الموسم الحالي، وذلك بعد أسابيع من التكهنات حول مستقبله خلال موسم الانتقالات الصيفي الماضي وإمكانية رحيله إلى مانشستر سيتي.

ورغم ذلك، نال هاري كين إشادة كبيرة من قِبل أنطونيو كونتي قبل مباراة الغد المرتقبة ضد الريدز.

وقال كونتي في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة “سكاي سبورتس” العالمية: “هاري كين مهاجم من الطراز العالمي، كل يوم أدربه أفهم جيدًا أنه مهاجم من الطراز العالمي”.

أصبح الدولي الهولندي لوك دي يونج مُهاجم برشلونة، على وشك مُغادرة ملعب “كامب نو” في نافذة الانتقالات الشتوية المُقبلة.

وكان دي يونج انضم إلى برشلونة على سبيل الإعارة من صفوف إشبيلية حتى نهاية الموسم الجاري، ولكن الهولندي لم يُقدم أوراق اعتماده داخل الفريق الكتالوني.

وطالب تشافي هرنانديز المدير الفني للنادي الكتالوني، بالتخلص من دي يونج، وإعادة صاحب الـ31 عامًا إلى إشبيلية مرة أخرى، بعد ظهوره بشكل سيء مع الفريق.

ولكن رفض إشبيلية فكرة إعادة دي يونج من جديد، خاصًة أنه ليس ضمن حسابات المدرب جولين لوبيتيجي.

وحسب شبكة “Esport3” الكتالونية، فإنه يوجد اتفاق ثلاثي بين برشلونة وإشبيلية وقادش، لكي يلعب المُهاجم باقي موسم 2021/2022 مع قادش.

وأشارت الشبكة إلى أن الاتفاق بين الأندية الثلاث موجود بالفعل، حيث سيلعب دي يونج مع قادش في النصف الثاني من الموسم الجاري.

وأكدت الشبكة أنه يوجد شيء واحد فقط مفقود في العملية، وهي موافقة دي يونج، والذي لم يرد حتى الآن على مسؤولي برشلونة أو إشبيلية.

لوك دي يونج مع برشلونة خاض 12 مباراة بمُختلف المسابقات، ولم يسجل إلا هدفًا واحدًا في الليجا أمام ليفانتي.

As Pedro Goncalves gears up for a potential £50m move to one of Europe’s top clubs, Wolves will be living with regret at what could have been.

The Portuguese ace was key man the year Wolves’ U23 side won Premier League 2 but since then, not a huge number of their academy players have been granted regular first-team opportunities. Goncalves only played once, for instance.

One of the fortunate young players to be given their chance is Max Kilman. The former Futsal player has become a valuable option both at left-back and in the centre of defence for Nuno Espirito Santo, but with defensive problems rife this season, he could be searching for new players in the summer.

Wolves may have kept three clean sheets in their last four games, but before that, they had kept just one clean sheet in the league since October.

Though, if Nuno and Jeff Shi do look for other options in the summer, they could do worse than look at their academy; namely Lewis Richards.

The 19-year-old has featured among the substitutes in five Premier League matches without ever earning his senior debut. Yet, that should change in the not too distant future.

Richards earned a new contract with the club last year and has since made promising strides in the U23s, playing nine times in Premier League 2.

He saved what was arguably his best performance of the campaign for a win over Crystal Palace last weekend. A centre-half by trade, he plays very similarly to club captain Conor Coady, and he demonstrated that in the victory against Palace.

Richards claimed an assist for Theo Corbeanu’s goal, a moment the Wolves’ website described as follows: “Lewis Richards channelled his inner Conor Coady with a 40-yard raking ball out of defence and straight to the boot of Corbeanu.” What followed was the winger firing a deflected shot into the back of the net.

Richards is clearly conformable on the ball, and like Coady, he is a technical defender.

After winning the club’s Academy Player of the Year in 2018/19, Kevin Thelwell said: “He’s a very technical player who’s got the ability to pass the ball and start off play and help us to build out from the back, but also then very capable physically.”

Further praise was heaped on Richards after he signed his new contract back in August. Scott Sellars spoke highly of the teenager, commenting: “We try to reward success and he certainly comes under that bracket and deserves it. He’s always had potential. We saw it as a 15-year-old when we took him from Brentford. Now he’s obviously growing up.”

Richards has long been tipped for a bright future and now it’s up to Nuno to extract his immense promise. He likes his defenders to be able to play out from the back so he certainly suits the club’s way of playing.

It surely won’t be too long before we see him earn first-team minutes.

As investigações em torno do avião de Neymar, que foi bloqueado por determinação da 7ª Justiça Federal, levaram a mais uma polêmica. De acordo com a coluna “Panorama Esportivo”, do diário “O Globo”, o jatinho seria pertencente à SFG Aircraft, empresa norte-americana que é investigada pelo Ministério Público Federal do Pará (MPF-PA) por um contrato simulado feito com uma operadora aérea do estado.

Fabricado pela Embraer, o avião seria um arrendamento operacional entre a SFG e a operadora Voar (Cooperativa de Usuários de Aeronaves em Regime de Propriedade Compartilhada). Porém, a certidão da propriedade do avião não teria nem o nome de Neymar, de suas empresas ou de seus pais, o que é visto por fontes da Receita Federal como um artifício para sonegar impostos.

– A aeronave foi objeto de arrolamento no processo judicial (ação cautelar fiscal) em trâmite na 7ª Vara Federal de Santos. As informações constantes no arrolamento sobre a aeronave são muito superficiais. Existe também informação da Neymar Sport e Marketing S/S Ltda. – ME, por intermédio de seus advogados, de que o referida aeronave, objeto de leasing com o First Bank, já foi vendida. A procuradoria requereu expressamente a indisponibilidade da aeronave – disse um procurador da Fazenda.

David Moyes must boot summer free-agent Fabian Balbuena out of West Ham United as interest begins to build in the outcast defender.

According to Portuguese transfer expert Pedro Almeida, Balbuena is attracting interest from clubs from around the world ahead of his potential release at the end of the season.

The centre-back has just three months remaining on the £40k-per-week contract signed upon his arrival in 2018, when bought from Corinthians for £6.5m by Manuel Pellegrini and former Irons Sporting Director Mario Husillos.

Balbuena was initially a key part of Pellegrini’s backline at the London Stadium but lost his place in the side after knee surgery, and has endured a mixed spell under Moyes.

After playing a bit-part role last season, Balbuena was a fixture of Moyes’ line-up at the start of the current campaign – opening 12 of 15 Premier League games – but has only been seen on the field for 90 minutes across all competitions since December.

Almeida claims that four teams are now lining up summer moves for the 29-year-old, who would prefer to secure a return to Brazil after his two years at Corinthians.

Rio de Janeiro-based Flamengo are one of the clubs thought to be keen, along with Internacional, a Saudi Arabian outfit and a team from Major League Soccer. No Portuguese side is currently considering an offer.

Flamengo’s interest has been long noted, with South American football journalist Jorge Nicola claiming in November that they may attempt to sign the £7m-rated titan at the end of the season should he leave West Ham as a free agent.

Should West Ham let Balbuena leave?

It was thought earlier in the campaign that Balbuena’s future would be at the London Stadium, but the picture changed drastically over the winter as he fell further down Moyes’ pecking order.

Irons insider ExWHUemployee suggested in December that a new deal was set to be agreed imminently, yet rumours surfaced on Deadline Day last month that the Hammers were open to offers for Balbuena as they sought to retain Liverpool target Issa Diop.

In the end, both remained in east London, but only Diop has been given a chance to feature while Angelo Ogbonna is sidelined with a high ankle sprain, as Craig Dawson has locked down the other centre-back role after taking the position from Balbuena.

It would appear that Balbuena has now given up hope of securing a new deal as he looks for a return to Brazil, having claimed recently that he will sit down with the Hammers hierarchy to discuss his future as the club hold an option to extend his current contract.

From a financial point-of-view, it would make sense for West Ham to take up that option and look to recoup some of the fee paid to Corinthians, given the 29-year-old still holds a £7m TransferMarkt valuation, but Balbuena is simply stealing a living just being left on the bench, with the manager unwilling to select him.

The Irons would also be locking themselves in for at least another £2m in wages if they fail to sell the centre-half, given Flamengo’s long-standing position has been to sign the 16-cap Paraguay international only if he becomes a free agent.

So, unless West Ham can guarantee that one of his suitors will swoop with an offer in the summer, it may be time for Moyes to boot Balbuena out of the London Stadium and do so for free, rather than gambling on a sale after activating their option to extend his contract.
